The number of abandoned children with HIV is at an all time high in Ecuador. Who does this affect? It affects everyone, especially the children. When families can no longer afford medications for their ill born children, they abandoned them.
The I AM . . . SOMEBODY project was started by our first mission team to visit the province of Guayaquil. The team was led to the Hospital de los ninos, and visited the Infectious Disease Center. There were many children that had been abandoned, and had no one to even feed them! The hospital staff itself is just there to distribute medications. Imagine the most loneliest place on earth, with no one to care for you, no one to visit you, and no to love you. This is what these children go through everyday.
Our vision is to build an orphan home. A place that takes in abandoned children with HIV and orphaned children whose parents have died from AIDS. Here the children will receive care, medicines, food, a home, and most importantly love. We want to give the children the love of Christ.
At this time we are going to rent a house out and hold some of the kids. We are still believing God for financial assistance to help for the cost of the house and to support the kids. The government is helping us out in purchasing us some land for a orphanage to be built in the future. We pray that you would partner with us.
We will be taking teams to build this orphanage in the near future. Let us know if you are interested.
If you would like to help out in any way it would be an incredible blessing. This is not about us, this is about seeing a need and being used to help the need. Please pray and join us in prayer. Contact us and make sure to let us know what you want your offering to go to in the comment box. God Bless
Church Building Project
Guayaquil, Ecuador
The main building of this church is now complete. They are still wanting to build on to this church as it gets bigger and they have a vision to host children there during the day. If you would like to help support this church it would be a blessing. This church is located in a area where there is no jobs so this church relies on you and us for financial help.
San Raphael, Mexico
We are now finished with the walls and the roof. We are still needing support for the door, windows, and other little stuff. We will post pictures soon. Thank you so much for the support, and for the teams that went and help build the building!
