Acuna

Pulling up to the house we see a family cooking some beans for their meal for the day outside. We walk up and they greet us with a smile. As we were talking to them we find out that the daughters were being prostituted out at age 12 and 13. Then we find out that the 15 year old was raped and has a two year old daughter by the rapist. With no education and no job and questions of why this happens is asked.

In 2006 we went to visit Acuna on the boarder of Mexico. We have sat and heard many stories just like this from many families that live in card board boxes or whatever they can find to live in. We have built families houses and bringing hope to an area that has been grounded with drug wars that have left more dead the last years than the Iraq war. Building homes, bringing supplies, and teaching and showing the love of Christ is our goal.

What you can do!
We are raising teams and asking for donations to help build these families homes. We are also involved with supporting an orphanage in this same area that takes children that have been neglected, raped, or prostituted out.

The cost to build a home is $4,000 dollars and we are needing donations to help with supplies for the orphanage.
Please contact us and help us make a difference!

We recently just finished building a house for a family that lived in these conditions. with your help we can spread the love of Christ and be a witness and help bring peace to the border of Mexico by giving these families a better place to live.

We have another family that is in need of a house built. This family has two daughters that live there and they have been raped and prostituted out. Please help them out by sending a donation. We would also love for you to join us on a trip to visit some of these families.

We are also needing donations to help support an orphanage in this area that is need of some floor work and doors and other little stuff around the place.

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wonderer with shelter - when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: 'Here am I.' "If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called repairer of broken walls, restorer of streets with dwellings.
Isaiah 58:6-12
